Foster A Dog

Open your home,
help save a life.

Fostering is the single most powerful thing you can do for dogs in our care. Every foster home doubles our rescue capacity.

We cover all vet costs, food, and supplies. You provide the love — even for just a few weeks.

Fostering FAQs

Common questions, honest answers.

How long do fosters typically last?
From a few days to a few months. Most adoptions happen within 2–6 weeks, and you can communicate your availability and preferences.
Can I foster if I already have pets?
Yes — most of our fosters do. We'll match based on your resident pets' personalities and energy levels.
What if I fall in love with my foster dog?
Absolutely allowed. It's called a "foster fail" and it's one of our favorite outcomes. You'd pay the standard adoption fee.
What if it's not working out?
Tell us. We'll work with you and, if needed, move the dog to another foster. There's no guilt and no penalty.
Do I need a fenced yard?
Not required for most dogs, though some of our higher-energy dogs do best with one. We'll match accordingly.
Do I need fostering experience?
Not at all. We provide all the training and support. You just need a warm home and a willingness to help.
